Armchair RICHARD III by Philippe Starck for Baleri Italia

The RICHARD III armchair is inspired by classic Bergère armchairs. Designed by Philippe Starck, this playful armchair was a gift to François Mitterrand for the reading room in the former French president's apartment at the Élysée Palace.

The armchair features a completely molded structure made of rigid structural polyurethane, which is painted with black polyurethane enamel. The cushion is made from expanded polyurethane and dacron. Upholstery options for the cushion are available in various fabrics, as well as in leather and eco-leather.
