Crystal and Aluminum Table PRESIDENT M by Philippe Starck for Baleri Italia

The PRESIDENT M table, designed by Philippe Starck for Baleri Italia and crafted in Italy, features a dismountable structure. Its legs are made of steel tubing and cast aluminium, available in either metallic silver or matte black finish. The tabletop is constructed from 15 mm thick tempered clear glass.

Originally designed for François Mitterrand's private study at the Élysée Palace, the President M table embodies a striking contrast between lightness and density, both in the materials used and in its conceptual significance. Comprising only three structural parts, it can be completely disassembled. The shapes are visually striking yet perfectly functional, creating the impression that the tabletop is levitating.
