Stool MEZZADRO by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Zanotta

A symbol of Italian design of the 50s and 60s, stool MEZZANDRO was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957.

The tractor stool-like seat is considered a symbolic object for the Castiglioni brothers and also introduces the ready-made method in design: industrial parts are assembled, creating new types of products that are suitable for a serial production process.

The seat is painted in orange, red, yellow, white or black. Supporting system in curved metal and base in natural wood.
