Totem Black

Designed in 1971 by Mario Bellini, Totem is a sculptural tribute to the essential geometry that shapes our physical world. Born from a deep reflection on the relationship between form and function, it embodies purity and precision. At first glance, it appears as a minimal white monolith, clean, silent, and self-contained. Yet, with a simple gesture, it transforms into a sophisticated Hi-Fi sound system: two speakers unfold to reveal a fully integrated stereo module, radio, and turntable. Totem is not just an object, it’s an experience of design in motion.
